West Valley students, which includes Desert Hot Springs. Palm Springs, Cathedral City and the surrounding areas were promised a COD campus nearly 20 years ago. What they have today are a couple of trailers, which occasionally offer a class or two. Students without their own transportation often spend over 1.5 hours commuting by bus to the Palm Desert campus. For working students, it is difficult if not impossible to schedule classes. As a result, many students need four years to get their two year degree.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! West Valley students want to know whyTrustee Bea Gonzalez continues to vote against funding for the West Valley campus. The video below is from their last rally. They have pledged to continue protesting and organizing until Trustee Gonzalez stops her vindictive votes or is no longer a Trustee.
