The city of Palm Springs has resolved a longstanding dispute with College of the Desert over the former site of the college’s west valley campus.

The city council voted 4-0 to approve a settlement agreement with COD resolving a public records lawsuit and concluding property negotiations for 110 acres of land in north Palm Springs once slated for the campus.

The resolution comes as College of the Desert is about to begin construction on its new Palm Springs campus on a different site that once held a mall in the middle of the city. Read more here
